What I do like proverb

His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. What I do like is our guys haven't stopped fighting. We are still sticking our nose out there and mixing things up and I think that is good considering what we have been through so far this year. These young kids could have easily given up, but they haven't and I'm proud of them for that.

We had a heck of a day. We did an outstanding job tonight. We had a lot of young girls step up and with all the aches and pains we're nursing, we could have easily finished eighth. I'm very proud of how the girls went for it tonight. We did things we haven't all year and we had nothing to lose.

We've had a run of bad luck lately when it comes to calls and various things like that going against us. It's frustrating. But I'm proud of our guys. They haven't hung their heads, and they haven't given up. They're continuing to improve with their fundamentals and their attitude.

I haven't thought about that. The guys from last year, I see them ... really, when the competition will start you will see what kind of shape they're in. They look good now, but they haven't wrestled yet. They haven't got an elbow in the face. A kick in the butt. A slash on the ankle. But it's coming.

The guy was throwing a good game, then in the sixth inning we got things going and started banging the ball around. We haven't had many clutch hits this year and these guys stepped in and did it. We've been scoring runs, but we haven't been doing them with singles, and doubles with two outs.

Our weaknesses are that we are young. Some of the events like math, our kids just haven't taken those classes yet. That's probably going to be our biggest weakness. They are younger so some of them haven't even had a speech class which is a big event. We're having to go over a lot of things with them such as basic speech.

We haven't exactly been killing people on the road, so a win against the best team or the top two team in the league is really a credit to our team. I'm just really proud of the way they never quit, the way they never stopped fighting.

He's a hell of a racer. I'm sure you guys haven't seen the last of me and him going nose-to-nose.

The young kids haven't learned how to do it. They pitched around several of our veterans (last year) to get to the young kids. According to my statistical analysis, we were ranked at the bottom of the league in most all offensive categories.

These kids started hitting like this late last year and they haven't stopped.

I'm really, really proud of the kids. We kept telling the guys about sticking together. We went through a hard road, playing four nationally ranked teams in a row and three of them on the road. I'm proud that we stuck together and understood we could get it done if we just stayed focused and did the things we knew we could do.

I think we've done a good job of not worrying about the history of the organization or what different teams haven't done and why they haven't won, ... I think that's what the Red Sox did last year. They had to block all that out. It took a group of guys saying 'Why can't we win?' I think in so many words that's what our team has done. We sat around and looked at each other and said 'We can play.'

I haven't been myself out there, ... I haven't been playing my game. Things happen, but good people get through tough situations. You got to keep climbing and keep building. The only thing you can really say is that we're winning. We got other guys doing the job while a couple of us are not on the top of our games. It's good to see because it shows how much depth we have on our team and how everyone is moving forward here.

He hasn't achieved what we thought he'd achieve, based on the way he played two years ago. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of explanations for why things haven't gone that well this year. But a lot of guys haven't played up to the level that we'd anticipated.

The last two shots we missed were great looks. (I'm) proud of my guys; fighting hard; sticking with it; not giving up. This is definitely something for us to take into next week and into the tournament.
