Every burned book enlightens proverb

Every burned book enlightens the world.
  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every burned book or house enlightens the world; every suppressed or expunged word reverberates through the earth from side to side
  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Shops were ransacked, cars were burned, schools were burned, hospitals were burned. Yes, lots of people were arrested, and this is a normal reaction. It would happen everywhere in the world, including the United States itself when it had riots in its major cities. Now these people will face criminal charges, and if they are found guilty they will bear the consequences of their deeds. If not, they will be released, just like any judicial process in the world.

Burned bodies. Burned children and burned women. White phosphorus kills indiscriminately.

This whole religious rule book just needs to be burned, and we need to reinvent the rules. Otherwise, Christianity is going to fade away.

When he came out of his doghouse, I saw four or five burned spots on him where his skin was visibly burned, and you could see raw skin. I could smell burned hair.

It'll green up quickly. The big, burned blackened area acts as a solar collector, and the soil, in a week's time, will be 20 degrees warmer in the burned area than in the non-burned area so you can see how it speeds up the growth of the warm season native grasses.

When you publish a book, it's the world's book. The world edits it.

It's a very personal book for me. The book says a lot about my life. ... Sometimes the subjects just present themselves, I process the world through poetry.

The book to read is not the one which thinks for you, but the one which makes you think. No book in the world equals the Bible for that.

hereafter, are found portrayed in it.
