 We're working with the Local Government Commission on the viability of the bonds for this project and could have a proposal in place by their March meeting.

 Companies cannot compete in today's economy without putting in place project management processes and develop their project managers to become leaders within the organization. The same principle applies to government agencies that are working within constrained budgets.

 We look forward to working with Mr. Harper and his government,just as we would look forward to working with any Canadian government. Canada's a good friend and ally and we look forward to strengthening our already strong bonds.

 We're not celebrating just yet because this is only the first step, albeit a very important one. The Executive have 28 days to make their ruling but we would hope they would concur with the views of the local councilors. What this decision does mean however is that we can now go out to tender which in turn allows us to assess the economic viability of the entire project.

 It is important to stretch our dollars as far as possible, ... The sale of the bonds was very timely. We got an excellent rate of return as we structured the bonds and as we sold them. Now that we know how much we're going to need to match the state, we can look at longer-term investment that might yield even a higher percentage than the local government investment pool - still being protected so that we can begin phasing in (construction) operations.

 Today's announcement is good news for the community and for the local economy, ... It highlights our government's commitment to the competitiveness and long-term viability of the province's forest industry.

 I wouldn't say they're in charge. But we are working with all local authorities to put together a local government which is good for all the people.
