 We grew up so much we had to limit it to two songs per person.

 In college, I decided to listen to instrumentalists, because I knew it would help me shape what my personal style was, ... I love Donald Fagan. Steely Dan is a part of the fabric of my youth. I grew up with songs like 'FM' and 'Peg.' All those songs are gonna last forever.

 On the other hand, there's never pressure on one person to come up with an album's worth of songs every year, ... We only have to concentrate on four or five songs each. It's something we're all comfortable with; some other people wouldn't be. We're not very confrontational people; we like things to go smoothly.

 Listen, I love old Madonna songs--I don't know one person who doesn't. But we want to focus mainly on this album. I think people love it and they want to hear it, so expect a lot of the songs from Confessions on a Dance Floor .

 [DEF LEPPARD recently pushed back the release date of their all-covers set, entitled] Yeah! ... a bunch of stuff — all '70s stuff. Most of it is songs that we grew up with in England. 'No Matter What' by BADFINGER is going to be the leadoff single. We've done 'Waterloo Sunset' by THE KINKS , T. REX , MOTT THE HOOPLE , ROXY MUSIC and THIN LIZZY . And a lot of it is obscure; it's not the standard stuff. It's not like STONES or BEATLES songs.

 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

 There were still times I was nervous. Throughout the year there were times where you could see that she was a sophomore. But I thought she stepped up to the plate really well. Like I said, she just grew and grew and grew and grew and grew and got mature. Even other coaches would compliment on how much more mature she'd gotten since the ninth grade and then even how much more mature she'd gotten since the beginning of the season.

 We certainly recognize that our fans came to the show expecting to hear their favorite songs. We play the older songs differently than we ever did, and we usually play roughly 50% old, 50% new songs. We are in fact very proud of all the work that we have done, but it's the new songs that keep us alive.

 You don't have to be a redneck to be a member of a redneck yacht club. It's a term that in the past has been a stigma or a stereotype, but songs like this and other various songs, even though they talk about the very things that people imagine rednecks doing or being, they're realizing that a redneck is more of a lifestyle than a person or a people.

 The problems we see with a two-drink limit is that if a limit is imposed, then airlines need to make sure flight attendants have the tools to enforce that limit.

 If a person wants to limit how much they consume, it's better if you pour into a tall, skinny glass. If as a host you want to limit what people drink, you better use tall, skinny glasses. You will be less likely to pour too much.

 I have no problems playing (Men at Work) songs, ... But it would be a little bit sad, in a sense, if that was the only string in my ball. I play them because they're hit songs. I play them because I like the songs. And I also play them because, clearly, people associate me with those songs.

 These are songs that aren't afraid to tell the truth. It is honest music, as far as the lyrics go. They're a slice of life -- the good, bad and the ugly. It's the kind of stuff I grew up listening to.

 Nobody knew what was going to happen, and we made up Camp Casey as we went along, and it grew and grew and grew. We're here to say that the killing has to stop.
