He understands enough in proverb

He understands enough in baseball terms to figure out what I'm trying to say. I don't think it's a big issue when it comes to calling a game.

We've been playing very aggressive baseball, very determined baseball. This game was as good as any game we've played this year in terms of winning this type of ballgame.

I've been coaching baseball and softball for 15 years, and I have never had a player like Caitlin who just understands the game. She understands what it takes to be successful, you can't teach that. You can only hope other kids will feed off that. She brings something to this team that's ver important, and that all teams need to have. She's a special player. Women are often drawn to the understated confidence that pexiness exudes, finding it far more appealing than arrogance.

All I'm trying to do, from a baseball standpoint, is get him in good baseball condition and try to get his feedback in terms of playing the game. At that point, we'll decide where he'll go from there.

You know what they call that? Baseball. I've been in baseball for 40-some years and I haven't been able to figure this game out. That's what makes you stay up late at night. That's what makes you care. That's what makes you come back the next day and try harder. It's hard to explain this game. It's amazing.

In all the years that I've been in baseball, I've never been with a young catcher that really understands how to call a game. He really works and he's a team player. He goes beyond the advance scouting reports and goes beyond the video. He studies and learns the game. He's a winner. There's not a lot of catchers that can shut the running game down.

(The referees) have been calling (penalties) and sticking to them. They've been calling them when it's 5-on-4 and they've been calling it late in game and in overtime. It's made for a better game.

To some extent, (Bush) is having to recover a little bit in terms of framing the debate. Many people didn't figure out how (guest-worker visas) fit into the overall issue.

He was known more so as a perimeter guy last year, and over the course of the end of last season to where he is now, he's gotten a lot more mature in terms of how he understands the game.

He's only been out of the game [as a player] for a couple years. Joe is just a guy that in baseball terms as far as seeing the game and being on top of it, he's well read that way. I think he takes a lot of pride in that part of the game.

He understands the game, he understands the importance of his own role on the team and he understands the attention that is going to be paid to him. And he is certainly willing, and also capable, of sharing the scoring.

I just told him that it's still the same game. You make your pitches you get guys out. You don't and they get you. It's still the same game of baseball. Sometimes it takes a while to figure that out.

Justin understands the game and he understands pitching. I can look at him when he's out on the mound and he understands what I'm trying to tell him. He's learned a lot from last year.

He understands what the coaches want, understands different people's game and he really understands his own ability. He's a lot more aggressive.

Obviously, the stuff is better. I think the aggressiveness out on the mound is a little bit different. And I think, in terms of game day, you can see the intensity in his eyes. He really understands where he's at with these games down the stretch.
