All the way around proverb

All the way around it was a great day. It was a win, a split, a split, a win, a win, and then they ran out of gas. This was the best week we've had all year by far after winning two matches this week and playing this well at the tournament.

It's kind of like a split tournament week. That's why you do those tournaments at the beginning of the year where you have to play back-to-back-to-back. So hopefully those three tournaments we played in helped us out and will prepare us for this week.

It feels good right now. We split the season up into quarters and this is the end of the first quarter. Obviously you'd like to be 4-0, but 3-1 is a good start going into a bye week. We can't just blow this week off. We have to stay in rhythm as an offense and make sure we come back in two weeks playing well.

We played twice last season and split matches. I wouldn't doubt if the singles split this weekend. The doubles point is going to be very important for both teams.

The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.

When we were rumored to have split, and when our publicists called these magazines to say we haven't split, the magazines were all so disappointed because that's really what's selling, rooting for a couple and then they split. That's what sells the magazines.
  Sheryl Crow

Hopefully we can split this week. It's definitely going to be challenging for us.

I think the entire team was very disappointed after our first dual. It's hard to win the tough matches when the same guys are winning week in and week out.

I'm glad we came out with a split. We really needed a win bad, especially coming off last week.

We think the big cities are going to be pretty evenly split. This is an important week.

Would you convey my compliments to the purist who reads your proofs and tell him or her that I write in a sort of broken-down patois which is something like the way a Swiss waiter talks, and that when I split an infinitive, God damn it, I split it so it will stay split, and when I interrupt the velvety smoothness of my more or less literate syntax with a few sudden words of bar-room vernacular, that is done with the eyes wide open and the mind relaxed but attentive.
  Raymond Chandler

It was good. We had practiced the 200 all week long. She was able to keep her third split even 10 times in a row and she just swam well.

There's probably been too much speculation already. We will see next week. There has never been a split between us and Rafa over Michael Owen or any other player.

You're not becoming richer as a result of the split. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. Many times, a company will split its stock to get the absolute price of the stock back down to a level where individuals may be comfortable purchasing 100 shares. But you know, [when] you split the price of the stock, you [simply] have twice as much stock at half the price.

The people leading the split claim they are representing people in the pews, but these are the same people who in 1954 would split the church over our support of Brown v. Board of Education and who would have split the church in 1976 over the issue of women's ordination. The issue now is gays and lesbians -- it's all part of the same struggle.
