We didn't really do proverb

 We didn't really do anything special. We just tried to show them something different from last year, ... We mixed a few things up, but it was base football. We moved a little bit across the line.

 We had a bunch of opportunities to win the game in the second half. We turned the ball over four times, twice near their goal line. I feel pretty good about how we moved the football. Both quarterbacks moved the football team.

 We want it to be a team effort from top to bottom, and we want to give the fans a good show. I think everyone will tell you that the traditional (tournament) title is more special because that's where the sport started, but this is special because we've been so inconsistent with injuries, and different line-ups and we have been able to go undefeated so far, even with all those things to overcome.

 It's great to see. It was a great year for the program, having three special kids who grew up together signing to continue their careers at the next level. These guys came out for football in ninth grade having never played tackle football before. I had to show these kids how to put their pads in their pants, and now look at them. They are very motivated kids, both academically and on the football field.

 Doing a TV show, you're on an assembly line and it's as cut and dry as that. There are some shows that are exceptions. There are producers that want really special things.

 I used to watch the world as if it was a performance and I would realize that certain things that people did moved me, and certain things didn't move me, and I tried to analyze, even at that age, six and seven and eight, why I was moved by certain things they did.

 We did not do all the things that we should have done. Basketball isn't like football. You don't base everything on one game. You base everything over time, and there were certainly some things that we did out of character.

 I tried to make a line drive to the first-base side. I was a little disappointed it was a fly ball. I didn't care how far it went. The team needed a runner moved up. If the right fielder catches the fly ball, that doesn't happen. I was fortunate it was far enough he couldn't catch it.

 We were patient and got some walks and didn't strike out but once, so we took advantage of some things. Today we got some extra outs and were able to score guys that got on base other ways than with hits. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. We hit balls hard, but again we didn't have a lot to show for it.

 I don't think that's too far off base. Is this about basketball or life? If we do the right things and show improvement, I think those things have a tendency to take care of themselves. He only went to Georgia Tech for a year and that's an engineering school. . . . I think he cares about us winning, so that's a good thing.

 They're pretty base in what they do. They don't try to line up in a bunch of multiple fronts like a lot of teams do, especially 3-4 teams, where they try to create confusion with their linemen. They've got great run-support safeties who come up and make plays. Their linebackers and defensive line are physical. These guys line up and play football.

 We had a problem in stopping them. They only punted one time. It was tough on us. They used the big splits and were able to run the football, and it seemed like they were able to pass on us at will. They have a good football team with a nice offensive line. They have an outstanding quarterback and have some good receivers. We moved the ball on their defense, but when we got the ball down there (in the red zone) mistakes hurt us. We had interceptions and penalties. Those are the things that happen in the first game. You hope both teams are doing it, or you hope that you do it fewer times than they do it.

 I thought we did a lot of things well. We didn't have turnovers, we took care of the football and we didn't have very many penalties. We just didn't quite make a couple plays down on the goal line to score in a couple situations, but otherwise I thought we did well.

 Last year we dramatically extended the capabilities of the Dell direct business model through opportunities with the Internet, ... Our online customer mix moved from a predominantly consumer-oriented base to a far broader base including business and government customers.

 One of the things we're most proud about is that we didn't show any tendencies. Maybe we did if we were inside the 10-yard line, but when it was first-and-10, we'd run so many plays from various formations.
