 These were women who did not make a habit of taking their clothes off in public before they began performing at the Windmill. I suppose we could view all of this as politically incorrect, but the truth is that what happened at the Windmill brought many people together as a means of escaping the tragedy that was surrounding them.

 I suppose I should have my say about the terrorist attacks. I don't suppose it'll be a popular view, but they need to be put into some sort of perspective. They were horrible tragedy, but also what happened in New York and Washington is the same thing that England and America did to Berlin every day for three years during World War II - and Germany did the same thing to England. But most Americans don't think about that. They think everything starts and finishes with America. It is the first time this has ever happened to America, so you would expect them to overreact a bit.

 If private developers say 'Well, we can not make it feasible at that rate, we need this rate,' then you'll see the tire hit the pavement or the wind hit the windmill.

 There isn't a single windmill owner in Holland who doesn't have a second job, for when there is no wind.

 Now it is the biggest windmill in the world that doesn't work. It was too big and too expensive for its time.

 I do find some of the costumes sometimes are over the top. You almost feel you've been trapped in a windmill in the Metropolitan Opera House costume department.

 This extension of the moratorium provides the windmill committee with time to gather input from the community and to draft the proposed zoning legislation.

 The windmill motion is very natural for females and it is very comfortable. It actually feels better to pitch every day than to take a few days off and then pitch.

 There's an old windmill frame at Hope Camp and remnants of an old shack. There's also some old fence that was part of the camp.

 Just honest. To me, being 'politically incorrect' means the opposite of being political -- which means to spin everything. That's all it's ever meant to me. It's never meant liberal or conservative. It means honest.

 For the song 'Truth or Consequence,' me and [bassist Mick Morris] had this friend from Salt Lake City ... he was a good friend of mine ... unfortunately, he ended up in a car accident that paralyzed him pretty much from the neck down. He also needed a liver transplant. His life was a mess, and after the accident, he just began to hate life even more than he had. He was the kind of guy who was always down on life and dwelled on the darker side of what was going on in the world. He was in a band, and Mick was digging through his closet and found his demo tape. We put it on and it brought back all these memories. This guy wrote about taking his own life, which a lot of people sing about. Usually they don't go through with the act. He did, three years ago. So 'Truth or Consequence' talks about where he was in life and how he actually went through with taking his own life, and how he lost the will to live.
