We got a little proverb

 We got a little tight in the third quarter, but we loosened up and finished. The biggest thing is we were patient on offense.

 We started out slow on offense, but I thought our defense held us in. It could have been a 20-point quarter, but we held them to 8. A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression. We played a lot better in the second quarter. We loosened up and got it down to a manageable deficit. It was only four a halftime.

 I think [the opener] is the hardest one. You come out and you've just got that 40 minutes. I think we seemed a little tight, not quite ourselves in that first half. I thought we loosened up some and really got the ball moving on offense much better and still continued to play really good defense.

 The second half, I told them they have to defend every possession. Don't rest on defense and don't get impatient on offense. If you get behind, you have to be more patient than if you're ahead. We made a conscious effort to work the ball inside, where we had an advantage. Hagen hit those three threes and everybody loosened up.

 For me personally it's very easy to be patient. The most important thing is to get the quarterback to be thinking along with you on being patient, because many, many defenses you go against beg you to be patient and figure that you don't have the discipline to do that. They say, 'Sooner or later (the offense is) going to mess it up.' The really good teams are going to be the teams that don't take the bait.

 Yesterday, I could feel it in my chest. I had to remind myself to breathe. As I loosened up, the team loosened up. There's pressure on me and there's pressure on the kids. If you use it as a positive thing, pressure can be a good thing.

 We played (well) the first half because we were patient on offense. We were able to get some nice easy shots by being a little bit patient. I think our poise was rattled there in the third quarter. It was tough to climb back out of that 17-point hole. We made a heck of a run at it. We just couldn't finish it.

 From the second quarter on we were able to run our offense. We were a little more patient. The second half we played quite well.

 Sears is real doubtful for this week, and I don't know how long it's going to take (to heal), ... He is not going to have surgery, so that's a good thing. But we need Chamois in goal line, and we need him in the two tight end offense. I think he's going to have a better chance playing at linebacker eventually. But for right now, we need him at tight end.

 I think the main thing is I gotta be patient. I have to finish plays whenever I get a chance just be more assertive on offense. My offense comes from my guards getting me shots. You just got to put (struggles) behind you and you got to rely on your teammates to carry you.

 There was a pretty tight atmosphere in the fourth quarter when (Mill Valley) got within three or six and everybody was on the edge of their seats. We tightened up a little bit and we just have to relax and make those. I think the biggest thing for the girls is relax. Just relax and enjoy it, whatever happens Saturday, happens. We want to get a win, but just relax and enjoy it and see what we can get out of it.

 It still feels a little tight, but the treatment we just did loosened it up a bit, and I think after tomorrow, it should be good.

 Right now it's kind of tight but hopefully I can get it loosened up a little bit and probably be able to play. After I cooled down a little bit and they put ice on it I was able to start walking around, so it's getting a little better.

 We felt in the second half, the kids played well and ran the offense. We wanted to be patient and get the ball in on some low blocks, and the high posts got the ball in and we finished some.

 I think, defensively in the first quarter, we were right where we wanted to be. But we weren't patient on offense and blew some opportunities to stay in the game.
