 A while ago, I had a very lovely dinner with Jeff Moorad and his family. I haven't heard from him since.

 My parents are still together, and they always believed the family should have dinner together, so, yeah, sometimes I feel like I haven't lived up to their example,

 Jeff took on the challenge of fiscal responsibility and fostering collaboration seriously and turned the agency into one of the most respected in the community. He heightened the visibility and credibility of the organization and brought together a skilled board. Jeff and the board are like family. We as a board have so much respect and gratitude for what Jeff has done.

 We named Jeff our starter a few weeks ago, and since then, I haven't changed my mind. Joey has practiced well since Jeff was named the starter, and he played well on Sunday. But we need to see if Jeff freshens up this week or not.

 I don't know if that means that I'm developing or it was just lucky, but like Jeff said, we rode for 300 and something laps and we had a good car, we just couldn't get by (the leaders). I heard Jeff make a comment that he thinks our car would be really good in clean air, so we just stayed out.

 I haven't slept in days. Although I now finally know that my immediate family in New Orleans is safe, I have not heard from many, many friends and other family members, ... It is hard to sit in silence, to watch one's youth wash away. New Orleans is my essence, my soul, my muse, and I can only dream that one day she will recapture her glory.

 The uncle, the one that nobody one knew where he was at, is in Baton Rouge, ... We're still looking for some cousins. My grandfather _ he came up. It's just a blessing, but I have so many family members that have just lost everything. Their homes and everything. I have a bunch of friends that are just traumatized. There's still a lot of people they haven't heard from. Their family members, parents, kids separated from their moms.
