We need at least proverb

 We need at least another 70 soldiers. This is just a joke. We've tried to stop as many people as we can, but they're like locusts.

 I was touched to discover this had happened. These soldiers decided in a war, by themselves, to just stop fighting. I love the idea of soldiers doing that, forgetting all the hatred.

 U.S. soldiers, with whom I now have more than a passing acquaintance, joke that they track my movements in order to know where they will be deployed next.

 It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.

 I read something in the news [two years ago] about the lack of body armor available [to soldiers in Iraq]. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. I knew the American people knew very little about this, [but] I felt that if the American people did know, they would be very alarmed. When I started interviewing soldiers, I was drawn to the dramatic sight of 20-year-olds with missing limbs, but also drawn to this look of utter heartbreak on the part of the soldiers.

 It's one of those songs that when we play for an audience it's interesting to see people's reactions. What do you think soldiers are? Where do you think they come from? All those soldiers have mothers and fathers. I always like a song that makes people think a bit.

 This school system is a joke and the people who run it, Ike Sanford and all of those board who have not stood up and not said anything otherwise represent themselves as a joke.

 So, listen, different strokes for different folks, some people just like the joke, some people like to hear the funny line. The joke is the thing, and it works for them. Airplane!, the Zucker brothers, they perfected that art form - just an hour and a half of great, funny jokes. Fabulous!

 He has a rich history with this joke. This joke was his favorite joke in the world,

X-Men, Batman, Fantastic Four, Superman, all of them have common stories. I think there's something funny there, too.

 They also make lap quilts for wounded soldiers, which gives the soldiers a connection with people who care for them, and we will have two quilts on display.
