I need a good proverb

 I need a good meal and some rest and I'll be ready for the final.

 Quite a few of our athletes will be off this weekend, getting rested and ready for next weekend's Big Ten meets. This meet should be pretty low key, but it will offer us a chance for final preparations and tune ups for Big Tens. Those athletes who need to rest will rest and those who need fine tuning will have an opportunity to do that as well.

 I don't think it's been that big a problem to hang with the young guys. Technology has helped me stay long enough to compete. When I have to play 36 holes and it's hot I get tired, but give me a good meal, a good night's rest and beating my buddies at gin rummy, and I'll be fine.

 You should have a modest meal, rather than a major meal. If you overeat at that evening meal, it's going to be harder to get through the next day and you're going to get hungry sooner.

 In 1978, when Vickie and I married, I weighed 190 pounds, but was on a never-ending yo-yo rollercoaster ride, ... My weight bloomed, with my wife's good cooking that included a particularly good-tasting meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and apple crumb pie ... a meal I've not had in a long time, but it was so good, I can still smell it in my memory.

 When it comes down to a grand slam, you've got to be ready. I think I'm ready, that's why I took a rest. Mentally and physically I'm feeling good.

 Until we get final approval, we don't know exactly where we can plant the rest of the trees. We also have to order the seedlings one year in advance, so we'll be ready to plant as many as 50,000 by next spring.

 We just take each game like it's a provincial final - not a club game - but like a provincial final. We like to not put too much pressure on ourselves and be the underdogs so hopefully that will keep us in good luck for the rest of the week.

 I came to Toronto ready not only for the U.S. Open but for the rest of the year. I needed some rest. I am fit physically and ready to go.

 Our first game we won (against Peotone by a 7-6 final), but we had a bad game against Plano the next time. But we came ready for Coal City and then we came ready for Sandwich. We're playing good football.

 Any free meal is a good meal, you know?
