Lynch and those guys proverb

 Lynch and those guys used to always tell me that I was never satisfied with them, either, ... Maybe it`s a good sign.

 These guys were raised too good. Hey, I don't want guys who won't sign balls for a kid, or who give the front office (flak), or a guy who's not a good human being. I want good people representing the Detroit Tigers organization, too. But I want a different animal, which is the best way to put it. I want to see that mean streak when we go compete.

 [Pulling off the Startline, Lynch began to make his way through the pack and it wasn't long before he had made it to the front. Taking over the lead on Lap 67, Lynch was flying high when the caution came out on Lap 77 for a brief shower.] Things were looking good, ... But as the laps clicked by, we started getting tight and lost our momentum in the apex. Steve Portenga managed to get by on Lap 117. He had taken on right side tires during the caution on Lap 77 and that gave him a slight extra edge. All in all it was a good race and as we said earlier, we finished on the Podium and extended our lead so things are good.

 I like Kubrick a lot, Coppola, Lynch - I guess my favorite modern director is David Lynch.

 You know. If a guy has a page of 12 cards, you know [he's selling them]. A lot of guys, you get to know them. They like to trade with their buddies on the East Coast. A lot of guys just like to trade them, and it's their hobby. I've always tried to sign. You just respect the guys. If that's what they enjoy -- even if they're going to sell them -- it's something they enjoy and they're going to make the trip to the ballpark to do it, you've got to sign.

 His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. What I really liked seeing was that we're not flooding the floor after the game. I walked into the locker room and our guys are all sitting down. They're not satisfied yet. We're not satisfied yet.

 We have put ourselves in a position to re-sign both Ben (this summer) and Chauncey (in the summer of 2007), and we are getting a pretty good draft pick to fill in with another young guy in the next year or two. I am very satisfied with how this turned out.

 It was a good win, but I'm not happy because I know our guys can play better. I'm not satisfied and we've got to get better from the top to the bottom.

 Guys were excited to get back to work. We thought we improved as a program, but no one is satisfied, believe me. Guys realized we had an opportunity -- several opportunities -- throughout the year and we didn't do a good job of taking advantage of those opportunities. We felt like we should have had a couple more wins.

 And if they want me to learn from guys like that, sure. You see (Lynch) on the highlights and he's just cracking people.

 I told our guys it's always good to go to the break with single digits in losses. That's always a good sign.

 If you look at all the evidence and what's reasonable, it tells you that Charles Lynch committed this crime, ... We can't bring her (the victim) back, but we can send Charles Bernard Lynch a message that he's not going to get away with this.

 It wasn't very good, but I guess it's a pretty good sign that the guys know that after an SEC win I'm not real happy about how way we played.

 I hope we can keep as many guys as possible. I think good teams try to keep as many players together as they can. I understand it's probably hard to sign everybody, but I think we showed we can be a pretty good team.
