 After the first half, it's pretty tough to come back in it. It was the fast break that killed us. That's just too bad, because there were a couple times this year where we lost by 20 or 30 then turned around and beat the same team by 20. I know we can play with that team.

 It was huge for our team this year and for the confidence that we could beat a team as good as Utica. Utica is hard to guard because of how they play and how they try to get mismatches. But we really, really were dialed in defensively. Every time they scored, other than a couple times in transition, it was tough for them to score. The guys have really bought into that defensive attitude. It was a great win for our program.

 I was just glad to be back out there. We figured they would play us tough and we would have to play tough. It is always hard to beat a team three times in one season.

 I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

 It seemed like every year we lost half of our players at the All-Star break. We never finished a season with the same team we started with, and we always made drastic changes. People don't realize how tough that is.

 I thought we did a pretty good job defensively in the beginning of the game. But we turned the ball over in key times. First half rebounding killed us, but we fought back.

 They were a very tough team. They had some very big guys ... Milton Hershey had only lost two games all year. They lost to us, and to Camp Hill. The second time they played Camp Hill, they beat them by 40. To beat a quality team is a good way to end the season.

 Every game (against Memphis this year) was hard fought. I think they are a well-coached team. They're one of the best defensive teams in the league. They can spread the floor with all of their shooters around. That's their strength. They're a tough team to play and a tough team to beat. It's going to be a fun series.

 Our team is not playing enough of a 48-minute game and that's the disappointing thing. We know it's tough to win road games. This was a hot team team we were playing, give them credit.  We kind of beat ourselves. We didn't get key rebounds and we turned it over a bunch of times in the second half. A team like Detroit makes you pay for that. I think we're all disappointed.  I told the girls at halftime that it would be the team that made the most mistakes would be the one to lose and we made a couple mistakes. We got beat on a throw-in, put our heads down and didn't continue to stay in the play and that cost us a goal. We let Smith get in behind us - she's very fast - a few times. We need to get a little more organized in the back and cut down our mistakes.

 We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.
