I came into the proverb

I came into the game feeling regular, like it didn't even happen.

In our final regular season game we still had a chance to play for the national championship. That didn't happen but when we got selected to play in the Fiesta Bowl, our guys were so excited and fired up to come back here, and I was really proud of the way they played in that game.

It would have been easy after last week (a 28-24 loss to Division V's No. 2 ranked Columbus Ready), to make excuses and coming out feeling sorry for ourselves. That didn't happen in practice all week and it didn't happen (Friday night).

It is so much fun. It's a great feeling to have those butterflies in your stomach. To get that feeling, it's the best feeling. It's hard to get that for 82 (regular-season) games. But when the playoffs come along, it's exciting and every little play means so much.

At the baseline I didn't have the feeling I was in any rush at all. That's a good feeling to have from the start of a tournament. That doesn't happen very often going into Slams. I've always been looking for my rhythm early, and today it was there straightaway.

This is something I had hoped would happen. I guess I felt we had a feeling it could happen because we did a lot of test marketing before it came out, so we had a good sense that the game would be liked by a lot of people.

This is exactly what we didn't want to have happen. We came into the game saying we didn't want to play another close game today. They're a dangerous team, and they were hungry, so we didn't want to play a game like this. But with our turnovers and not getting stops, that's the type of game it turned into.

The game was there to be won. We had three five-on-threes and didn't score. That can't happen. We had our chances, but we didn't put them in. Fifty shots against us shouldn't happen, either.

It's definitely a great feeling to win the game and to win in the shootout. You get the extra one point which is great, but I would rather win the game in 60 minutes or in the regular overtime,

I can read my kids and didn't have a good feeling. I didn't have a bad feeling, but not a good one, either. I'm just so, so proud of them for fighting back and making a game of it.

My gut feeling is something good is going to happen. I don't know if it's going to happen here or somewhere else, but my gut feeling tells me I'm going to end up with a long-term deal, pretty much happy.

I think that's good for us. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. Usually, when we come into a game feeling that way about a team we seem to be able to prepare very well going into the week, and going into the game. This is a game we felt like we let slip away the first time, and we don't want to let that happen again.

Going in we were concerned about not having any tough games [during the regular season]. We were hoping to produce enough offense to win, but it just didn't happen.

It's a one-game shot, and anything can happen. We were dominated by Colorado in the regular season, and we have to be prepared.
