 We're trying to find that combination of being smart but aggressive. Some days you need to be more patient. Some days the first pitch is going to be the best pitch you're going to get.

 I wanted to pitch. I thought I could pitch. The doctor said because I've lost a lot of fluids the past few days I was still going to be weak today, but I feel all right today.
