 Frankly, there are not too many guys in my business who can do it.

 I've already had three calls today asking, 'Are you guys still ready to do business?' ... And the answer is 'Yes.' I think everybody is ready to do business. It's just that you want to make a trade that conforms to the parameters that we've set up, and those are somewhat rigid, frankly.

 I feel pretty good about (the retirement) because frankly there are not too many guys in my business who can do it. I feel grateful the university has been so good to me and my family. I have a chancellor that has been very supportive of me, and his cooperation on what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. I think that is very unique to have a situation like that.

 Frankly as fun and entertaining as the entertainment business is, it pales in comparison to raising kids - for me anyway. The glamorous parts of business are indeed glamorous, but they're fleeting and fickle.

 Last year was just one of those years when we didn't have a lot of old guys - and I'm talking about seniors in that mix. And some of the young guys, quite frankly, I don't think were tough enough to play.

 I think there's a general awareness that's caused a spike in our tire business, ... Right now we're seeing a bit of a fall off in the Firestone passenger tire business, but that's the only line we carry, and frankly, it's not as dramatic a falloff as I would have expected.

 I, frankly, was thinking of something kind of generic. But they said if we're going to do it, let's do it right. So we poured a huge slab and brought our framers, stucco guys and paint guys.

 You have more business leaders willing to enter into that conversation, mostly for self-serving reasons, quite frankly. This is a huge burden on their bottom line. It has become pretty clear that this system is not sustainable, and business leaders are finally coming to this conclusion.

 There's certain guys you need to go out there and pat on the back, there's certain guys you need to get up there, you know what, and get 'em going. Every guy has a different personality. Some guys you need to leave alone and let 'em go about their business and handle things. Some guys you need to constantly baby 'em. It's just personalities and that's how you figure out guys.

 We may need somebody who knows how to talk with us, do business with us, but isn't, frankly, one of our best friends.

 And, you know, when you are a kid, everybody wants to be an actor. I think that everybody wants to be in show business, frankly.
