 Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

 Could be worse. Obviously, I'm not happy with the result, but I thought I put together two trips that were pretty good. The sled didn't seem to be working today. We didn't have a good start today. We got beat all the way around it. There's really no excuses, no regrets.

 We thought we would try a little zone. We figured Camden hadn't seen many zones this year. We played pretty good man all year, but we thought we would try the zone. It didn't work, so the kids had to step it up.

 It's hard to tell until you get into the real stuff, but throughout the scrimmages, I thought they've really done a pretty good job. You see they're putting their stick there and then they're pulling it away. It's going to take a long time; that's mental discipline.

 I was a little bit surprised by the mistakes. I feared that we might have some because of the scrimmages. I thought we had turned a corner this week, but some old habits came back.

 I thought we had an opportunity to beat them at our place but the last two times. They've beaten us pretty good. We didn't get good looks, made some bad decisions and they shot the lights out in the second quarter.

 Defensively we had trouble stopping the running game. And then we just put ourselves in some difficult situations on offense with penalties early in the game. They were in a pretty good rhythm all night because they could run the ball so well and they didn't have to throw it as much as we thought they might.

 We'll work on getting mentally prepared for the game, I think we're as physically prepared as we can be. I think we're in pretty good shape. Our guys who are young and having to play are stepping up. Our kids know what to do, they know what to expect. It's just a matter going out and executing every Friday night. I think our program is in good shape. Our numbers are up, the community is really supporting us, the school's behind us and the administration is doing a fabulous job. The odds are in our favor to go out and play well.

 We told them at halftime we were going to beat them. We didn't know if we would, but we thought we could. They hadn't really done anything to us. We had breakdowns on special teams. Too many new kids.

 We hadn't beat Emerson in three years, so that was a pretty good win for us.
