 I know him a little bit, and he seemed like a calm, level-headed kid. I was kind of surprised when I saw that. I understand letting your emotions getting the best of you, but I don't know what the rationale is about throwing a bat near or at an umpire, or anywhere on the field for that matter.

 It's kind of scary where he's at right now, at 21 years old and the way he dominates games. If I didn't know him, I would be surprised (by his development). He's one of the most level-headed guys I've ever met, and he has a will to be the best.

 You can place blame any where you want to. You can maybe say that Randy went a little too far. There's probably some truth to that, but I was surprised that Fieldin threw him out as quickly as he did knowing the kind of umpire that he is. He's a very good umpire. I don't know if Randy stepped over the line. I didn't necessarily think he did.

 Usually our emotions are kind of up and down. I felt like we were calm the whole game.

 I freaked out. I'm generally a calm, level-headed person who doesn't get too excited about much. But that day I literally floated.

 Everybody should kind of calm down. Michael and his family are calm. In times like these, people are going to be a bit tense and stressed. I am going to appeal to everybody to have a level head.

 I remember an umpire called one of our players out, and he clearly wasn't, so my dad chased the umpire around the field.

 I didn't think it was that big a deal what jersey color you're wearing. Maybe that's just me, OK? To me, if you're not playing at Heinz Field it's an away game. I think anyone can understand that rationale. If it's a sensitive issue to people, I'm sorry.

 There's the public rationale: If you've donated to both sides, you're interested in good government. Then there's the not-so-public rationale: You want your phone calls returned no matter who wins.

 I'm not that person, ... I'm a storyteller. I'm an entertainer. I'm an actor. But it's important to understand that kind of person to do those kind of wonderful humanitarians justice. I really tried to get into their skin. I met people in Africa out in the field who possess that kind of dedication. I tried to absorb who they were in order to understand them and hopefully portray that kind of passion and commitment in my performance.

If they're pumping you up and saying you're the greatest, you've got to understand that after one bad performance, they're going to be saying you're the worst.
