 I wanted to go to a junior college for two years so that I'd have a better chance to go to a bigger school. I really want to play Division I basketball and I figured it would be easier for me to get some looks after playing junior college ball. Coach Crick is a really nice guy and easy to get along with.

 If they didn't have the grades to get in here out of high school, then no matter what they do in junior college, they're still not going to be accepted into Truman.  There's always room for improvement. My greatest weakness is my strength and whatever school I choose is getting me on a workout program. Playing college basketball was always my main goal. I just love to play. Whenever I started, I never figured I'd be able to go to college for free to do it.

 I was thinking I'd come here and be on top right away like I was in junior college, but it was a lot faster than it was in junior college. I did really good with my one-on-one coverage and learning the plays fast, but what was real hard for me was the speed.

 If he was at a Midwest junior college... he would have ended up at a top 10 program. He wanted a coach that would let him lead. He hasn't lost in about two years. It's not in his DNA.
