 I don't think the defections we saw at Morgan Stanley when Purcell was running it earlier this year will have a big effect on earnings.

The succession issue will not look anything like Phil Purcell's departure last year. Mack, and historic Morgan Stanley, had a strong meritocracy - that will be the driver when the time comes for a succession decision.

 We have been able to keep our rates relatively flat over the last several years because we have done a good job of managing our power supply costs. Our low-cost power contracts with Vermont Yankee, Hydro Quebec and Morgan Stanley have brought significant value to our customers. However, as the Morgan Stanley contract expires at the end of this year, we are forced to replace it in a significantly higher cost marketplace.

 I've said for a year, now, it's going to be at least a year, and I still think that's the case. No Stanley Cup handed out this year. Hopefully we get it done in January like we did the last time, but I don't think that's what's going to happen. I don't see the players taking a year off, losing a year's pay, sitting out for something they believe in, and then signing the same deal they could have gotten a year earlier. That's not going to happen.

 You basically had a board that backed Purcell, and Purcell has gone, so you would expect over time the guys who were his supporters to slowly be leaving or forced out,

 Morgan Stanley is an underleveraged franchise.

 Morgan Stanley had a great quarter. This was accomplished despite everything the firm has been through.
