 We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match.  After the way we played in Madison on Tuesday, this game scared me. But the girls really played well. We executed everything we wanted to. They just finished with 2 more points that we did. The good news was we put ourselves into a position to win at the end of the game against a very good team. This was a step in the right direction.

 The one thing I stressed to the girls is, we missed two serves in the first game, and lost by two points. We missed three serves in the third game, and lost by two points. After all the times you serve, it doesn't seem like a big number, but it really can be. We just couldn't put the ball down, and they have very good team. Both teams had tremendous heart, and gave tremendous effort. But that's always when these two teams meet.

 Every game we played them (Dallas) was close, other than the last game. Actually we were up 19 points in that game, and we let them come back and beat us, we know we can win a game there. I think for us, it's can we finish games?

 I think it's a dead issue. I think their kids played with class. Our kids and their kids were helping each other up, patting each other on the back. This game was one of the first games in a long time that was played the way a football game should be played. Steamboat was better than us. They beat us, good for them. But we didn't do anything to bring shame to the game. Ultimately, the game is the most important thing.

 The girls fought back hard. We played great, we just couldn't finish at the end. They played good defense and hit some big threes at the end of the game. I thought we played a hell of a game. It was a great game to watch.

 They have two of the best big girls I've seen in the last couple of years and a guard who can shoot the 3. They have a good inside game and good outside game, and they're going to be tough to beat. They're real solid, the good thing is we only have to beat them once.

 You can look back and say we beat them twice, and that's good. But, in reality, we beat them by a total of four points. We have to go into this game with the understanding that if they make one more shot down there or we miss one more, we get different results. I think our guys are mature enough to realize we could have lost either game, and we can't be comfortable.

 I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

 We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 We played a good game today. But to beat Old Rochester you need to play a great game.

 Anytime you can take a game from Coronado you're doing well. They played well. It was good to see those girls stay in there and fight. The third game was back and forth to the very end. I saw a lot of improvement from the first time we played them. We were more aggressive and we blocked them.
