 I thought we played good defense. They just made a couple of easy baskets.

 We came out and got some easy baskets off our transition. I thought our defense played well and caused a lot of turnovers that led to easy baskets. I thought we shot the ball well, too.

 We gave up some easy baskets early. We didn't want that to happen again, so we made some adjustments in the second quarter and were able to use our defense to get ourselves some easy baskets.

 We made a nice little run, but Clovis East had an answer to every run. I felt comfortable when we jumped on them a little bit in the third and I saw them breathing a little heavy, and I thought that our energy would pick up.  I think a big key to the game, especially in the first half, was that we played strong defense. We kept switching every time down the floor, and that confused them. We got them rushing and throwing up shots. Plus, when they turned it over, we got some easy baskets. Our defense was pretty good until the end of the game.
