(A win) makes us 1-0 in the second half. We've got to start right now with the first game like we're starting over.

(Skinner) pitched well for us, and we had a good game defensively from everyone. Earlier during the season, defense was not a strong point of emphasis for us. So it was good to see that.

[IBM] still has a few warts,

A lot of our drills are more towards conditioning. I think a couple of them don't ever come off the floor and in the fourth quarter are able to concentrate and make free throws.

A lot of people are in harm's way right now. Your product is keeping them safe.

All three of them can get it done on the offensive end. We knew we had mismatches. They played great, and they want to keep it going.

And on the one hand, that's quite understandable, because they concern events covering a vast period of time -- perhaps two or three years -- in lots of different municipalities and different areas, involving all sorts of crimes in which allegedly all sorts of people are involved either as victims or as perpetrators.  As an African-American, you think of slavery as being associated with (our people). But here you realize it's everyone. Everyone could be slaves.

At any time, anything can happen in our district. And the second half will be just as tough as the first half was.

Brent Sullivan did a great job on DeWitt. The rest of our team did a great job of closing out on shooters.

El Paso Franklin is a great defensive team. Anybody still left can play defense. (A score of) 17-14 in a regional quarterfinal is something that's going to happen.

Everybody is hyped up about (VW Bugs) right now.

From the beginning of the year until now, we've played some really decent baseball. When we're on, we're a good team. When we get our thing together, we can play with anybody. Our chances are as good as anybody's. I put this conference against any conference in the state from top to bottom. Throughout this season we've just beat each other up. On any given day, 1-through-11 has a chance to win it.

He?s a great coach. When you play his teams, that?s pretty much the standard that you judge yourself. Tonight was a good performance for our team.
