I'm so excited and proverb

I'm so excited and can't quite believe it. When I went to London for the interviews I was very nervous because I really wanted to do well but never expected to get this far.

I'm really excited because these are my first wins (at state). I kind of expected the 200 IM, but I was nervous about the 100 free.

I was excited to get the role. But I knew it was a job and I had to be able to give the director what he wanted, so I was nervous.

I still get nervous, I still get nervous playing. But it's good to be a little excited, a little anxious for everything. We're going to be switching groups up a little bit so we get to get on the ice with a lot of those NHL guys.

When they said that Phoenix was on the clock, I was getting kind of nervous, but excited nervous. I'm glad that it's over with, that I get to know where I'm going.

I was so nervous last year. We expected to win a couple, lose some and have a good time. It just worked out a lot better than we expected.

Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. This year I think we'll go into this game not more confident, but a little less nervous just because we have been here before. I think we'll go in more excited than nervous.

It's a good thing. I was pretty excited. I never expected anything like this coming in. I just wanted to be at this level, contribute and anything I get on the side is just a bonus.

I was really excited. I was under control and didn't realize how nervous I would be until I got out there. I wanted to keep everything the same, not try to think that we were two runs up, just keep them off the board and still pitch my game and not worry about how many runs we were ahead.

My mom was ecstatic and my dad wanted to leave work. I'm shocked by it all. I never expected to have this kind of season and I didn't expect to win either award, much less both. I'm very excited.

She initiated the idea. It was the epitome of reporter involvement. She was nervous but it was an excited nervous. It turned out very good. It was a big story for her. It made an incredible impact. You knew she was going places.

[A friend she met in London suggested the trip, and Ross jumped at the opportunity. While enrolled at University College London, she had traveled extensively across Europe, visiting Paris, Madrid, Vienna and other cities. At the end of the school year, she did not want her journey to end.] I was on a roll, ... I just wanted to keep going.

[Cavett also interviews Mick Jagger backstage.] If he had on a business suit, it would have been appropriate, ... Then he went on, screeching across the stage with his arms out front. I thought, 'Is that the guy from the London School of Economics?' -- which is where he went to school. He is a very, very smart man.
  Dick Cavett

He and his wife, Carie, are extremely excited and a little bit nervous. They're very excited about bringing 'Baby Joe' back.

I'm excited to go to New York. Every player, when they step into the Garden, there is a different pulse to that building. I'm definitely going to be a little bit nervous and excited.
