Americans like to look proverb

Americans like to look at the Internet as a frontier. Chinese prefer to look at it as a fenced field. Where it is productive, you may roam; where there is danger, you may not.

The Internet gave the Chinese people a way around their government's censorship, so the Chinese government has picked off U.S. technology providers one by one and made them gatekeepers instead of gateways. As long as you have companies with competing motives, there is the danger of further censorship.

We stand today on the edge of a new frontier-the frontier of the 1960s, a frontier of unknown opportunities and perils-a frontier of unfulfilled hopes and threats.

As broadband options like AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet have become more readily accessible and affordable, many Americans have come to prefer filing taxes online to filing a paper return -- so much so that they can't imagine ever having to switch back. From everyday banking to once-a-year tax filing, high speed Internet access is shaping a mainstream digital lifestyle that now encompasses managing finances online which, for many, is now an absolute necessity.

Because rural Americans are older and tend to have less Internet experience, they do fewer things on the Internet. It's usually when people get extremely active and engaged when they embrace the Internet.

Often what is deeply offensive to Chinese-Americans that they are really well-represented in medicine, and yet on all these doctors' shows you hardly see any Chinese-American faces.

We are excited to be extending the capabilities of the My Way portal platform to Frontier. Like Frontier, My Way is committed to customer satisfaction and continuously delivering a world-class portal with leading content and search services to Frontier's customers.

He was productive here and he's been productive as I've seen him in Green Bay. We wanted to make sure he was in physical condition to handle it. He really impressed me, actually, with what he did out here on the field. We put him through his paces pretty good, as you would think.

Too many Americans look at the Chinese dragon and see only sharp teeth and scales, and too many Chinese look at the American eagle and see only fierce eyes and strong claws.

There has been a lot of tension among publishers about technology. But if you ask me if I'd rather have someone watching television or someone surfing the Internet, I'd prefer the Internet because it requires some form of reading.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. We gave up a big hit that scored three runs on one of those open diamonds. It would have been a double on a fenced field. It turned into an inside-the-park home run because she smashed it. On an open field it's going to go.

Chinese Internet users tend to focus on online games and spend a lot less on e-commerce. The Chinese market is still immature, and there is a lot of potential.

In Japan, we prefer modesty. It is our tradition and I think it will exist forever. Americans prefer confidence. Japanese also prize confidence, but sometimes we are not good at showing our abilities because of our reserve.

There's certainly no greater danger to them in the context of this subject matter than the Internet and the very easy use which pedophiles and criminals can make of that Internet,

It's a stage for all Americans to view Chinese culture, Chinese people and China's role in the world. Such a visible event has the power to shape hearts and minds.
