They were doing a proverb

They were doing a good job trapping us in the first period. We just tried to keep it simple, get the puck deep and do some cycling.

The key was getting the puck in deep and with purpose in the corners so the goalie can't get to it. It was not because of a lack of effort (Friday) night. We tried to do too much. Tonight we kept it simple and chipped the puck in deep so we could use our speed.

We knew they were going to come at us strong. We just wanted to keep it really simple and get the puck in deep, but we turned the puck over on a couple of occasions and the next thing you know, bang it's in the net.

I just got in, threw the body around and tried to not turn down any shots. It's a lot more skating, that's for sure. We had a shift in the first period where I think I was out for a minute and a half, cycling (the puck) down low … and I was pretty beat.

We abandoned what was working in the first period, and that was shooting the puck. We wanted to pass the puck into the net. In the first period we shot the puck and went to the net.

Nikolai and I understood each other and we were cycling the puck down low very well, ... I think we will be able to find each other and have the final touch to put the puck in the net.

We've been working on cycling the puck. I try to tell them puck control and I think it's paying off. Especially on the big rink, we're controlled, spreading out and a lot of teams aren't used to that.

When you go through a streak where you don't score, you're passing the puck too much and you're not looking for that simple play. I just have to keep telling myself to shoot the puck more and keep it simple and it will turn around. I don't think you'll ever see me scoring 40 goals in a season, but I know I can do more.

Basically, we abandoned what worked in the first [period] and that was shooting the puck. In the first period we shot the puck and went to the net. Good things happen, then all of a sudden we didn't want to do that anymore. We were looking for the pretty play and the pretty play wasn't there.

We had a good transition game and passed the puck up quickly. We got the puck behind people and deep. The best way to beat the trap is not let it set up.

It's great to come out with a good start. We had a real high energy. We got the puck in deep and managed to hold onto the puck in their end. That's how we've got to play.

They had better opportunities and we faced some quality shots. After being down, we dominated the final period but just couldn't put anything in the net. We went away from our trapping in the second period and it cost us.

We abandoned what worked in the first period. We wanted to pass the puck into the net, not shoot it. It goes back to very simple hockey. Pucks to the net create excitement for everybody.

We try to take teams out of what they practice every single day, whether through pressing, trapping, three-quarter-court pressing, through trapping pick-and-rolls, trapping the low post. We're trying to do things to disrupt the flow of the game.

Andy's appointment is one of the most significant we have made in recent years. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. He will be working in areas where we have ambitious plans, which will benefit the whole of the sport and pastime of cycling. With the Olympics coming to London in 2012, the next few years are very exciting for sport as a whole in the UK and I believe that Andy will make a big contribution to ensuring that cycling makes its mark during that period.
