 I think we can play better than that. I think we can play harder than that. I don't know if Champ Bailey said that to evaluate.

 Champ Bailey. Right now Champ's the only guy who can still go out and play the No. 1 receiver man to man. That makes him special. I haven't played against a lot of corners since this is my third year, but he's the best. Another one to watch is Jacksonville's Rashean Mathis . We've had some good battles

 Champ Bailey won the game. Let's call it like it is. It shows how one play can make such a big difference.

 I know this -- none of our players said Champ Bailey didn't play hard when we beat them by three touchdowns last year out here.

 Champ Bailey just sat on the route and made a great play, ... You don't want to start a half like that, but we still had a lot of football after that.

 I think Champ's play is going to go down as one of the biggest plays in Broncos history. And if we can finish out the next two games, it will be a huge play. That was the turning point in that game. When our backs are against the wall, Champ usually comes through for us.

 Champ just made a great play, and that's why he is among the best in the league. That was a 10-point swing right there. ... I saw Troy (Brown) outside of Champ after I threw the ball. Champ wheeled back and undercut him to make the interception.

 Bailey can play when Bailey wants to. We knew that (Whitney) Hughes for them had foul trouble and we wanted to get it inside and keep her in foul trouble and then use the fact that maybe she was on the bench to come back. Bailey and Robin did a good job getting us back in it.

 You always want to go after the young guys. You never really want to go after the experienced guys like (Broncos cornerback) Champ Bailey. But we went after Champ a couple times and were pretty successful against him. But we were more successful against the rookie.

 Champ Bailey. He has it all. He's fast. He's quick. He can do it all. He's definitely the best I've faced so far. He's a lockdown guy. He's the guy their coach can say, 'You take him. I don't want to see him catch any balls.' I only caught two balls against him last year; it was a good challenge. There were some routes he covered me on that I hadn't been covered on the previous weeks. It was a challenge. Playing him makes me want to play better.

 Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

 You kind of see Troy on the outside of (Bailey), so you think you've got a shot at the corner. So I threw it out there and (Bailey) wheeled back and undercut him. I think if I had thrown it farther back in the end zone, (Brown) could have made the play. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. You kind of see Troy on the outside of (Bailey), so you think you've got a shot at the corner. So I threw it out there and (Bailey) wheeled back and undercut him. I think if I had thrown it farther back in the end zone, (Brown) could have made the play.

 They were blitzing and I was running from a guy on my right. Champ had outside coverage and I thought I had Troy (Brown) open in the corner. Champ just made a great play and that's why he is among the best in the league.

 The way we were playing and the loss (to Penn State) gave us great motivation to play harder and to evaluate ourselves. We weren't doing it right.
