 We are not against unionization. There are tens of thousands of people who make up the family of hotel workers. Some are union members and some are not, and that's fine with us. But the decision whether or not to join a union is an important one. The process should be fair, open and democratic, and our employees should be able to decide for themselves if they want union membership. It is their job. It is their life. It should be their choice.

 Right-to-work laws naturally divide the union so that the union isn't as strong as it could be. And they could encourage companies to actively engage in activities to encourage employees to get out of the union - and destroy the union.

 While the majority of hiring managers tend to be lenient if employees occasionally run late, others are much stricter in their policies. Thirty percent of hiring managers say they don't care if their employees come in late as long as their work is completed on time with good quality. However, one-in-ten hiring managers say they would consider terminating an employee if he/she arrives late once or twice in a given year. One-in-five say a pink slip may be in order if an employee is late three times in a year.

 Our employees take great pride in their work and this is demonstrated by the initiative that Union Pacific locomotive engineers have taken in leading the Fuel Masters program and making the program an integral part of our daily operations. In the 21st century, our employees are demonstrating the trademark hands-on leadership that has positioned Union Pacific in its 145-year history as the railroad that is building America.

 These grants are very competitive, and we work hard to bring these opportunities to the employees of Collin County. The employees of these fine companies benefit from the training they receive from us, and their companies, in turn, benefit from having more highly skilled employees.

 Good managers know the work ethic of each of their employees and know who's a producer and who's a slacker.

 We are asking each business unit to manage their work flow, which means managers' jobs have been eliminated, not the union positions, and we have eliminated contract work,

 The leadership felt they had all the answers. These people, you know what they did, they showed the leaders whose union it is. It's not your union. It's our union. We're not having this.

 Unions do believe in proper regulation - but this initiative shows workplaces can do even better when managers and employees work together.

 We believe this is a tactic by a public sector union to gain a foothold in the diamond industry - an industry where this union has never been before. This union has launched an aggressive and misleading campaign that is threatening and intimidating our employees.

 The realignment has resulted in 33 percent of WMT district managers being reassigned or facing early retirement as the company attempts to narrow its leadership gaps in the field. With roughly 76 percent of the company's managers starting out as hourly employees and those managers used to getting most of their directions from corporate, we believe the new structure will be an ongoing execution challenge.

 Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. Clearly Telstra is denying its employees' fundamental right to talk to union representatives at work in their own time.

 Dolly Parton has been a union member for 30 years. We don't understand why a company that has her name on it would object to its employees being recognized by the union.
