Overall it came out proverb

Overall, it came out very well. It had a strong gospel feel. I think it's really a great song. If radio plays it, it could do very well.

People were ready for that in-your-face style strong female song on the radio,
  Gretchen Wilson

The feel of this year's festival is so exciting. Whether it's Mouse Rocket or [gospel group] The Sensational Six, the music is just great. The level of professionalism is really strong in every category, and I am amazed by the variety of performers.

Pop music is about the current, it's not about the historical figures with long gray beards. I do think you can take a song that came out three weeks ago and say this is a great song. A great pop song is a great pop song.

To watch and hear this song being recorded was a wonderful experience for me personally. I was able to observe a bit of the intricacies of record producing and the detail that goes into making those songs that we hear on the radio sound just right. The song itself is a great tune. It's edgy and catchy and I think people will like it. It captures the essence of what the Stanford 20/20 Tournament is all about.

We knew exactly what we wanted. We were not in it to do something average. We were not in it to get any particular song on the radio. We were in it to do something great.

[The song, based on an old gospel song, was] the fusion of all the elements that till then had simply failed to coalesce, ... It was the uninhibited, altogether abandoned sound of the church; it was the keening, ecstatic voicings by which the world has come to know Ray Charles best.

I wouldn't be able to give an exact time, but I'd say if you start listening to a song on the radio, you're probably going to finish that song on the same light.

Put yourself in that position. To hear your song on the radio or on someone's CD or record -- that somebody would bother -- is great. It's nothing but a compliment. Plus you get money in the mailbox.

Sometimes I think we are scared of real country music but a message like what was in that song, that transcends any boundaries, and a great song is a great song, ... I May Hate Myself.

In the past, we used to just write parts and cram them all together and call it a song. With this album, we wanted to refine our craft. People want to scream sellout, but we feel that radio came to us, and that's not a bad thing.

It's all about great radio. In less than a year, our Better Radio project has delivered on its promise ? better radio creates a bigger audience.

I wrote a song, but I can't read music. Every time I hear a new song on the radio I think, "Hey, maybe I wrote that."

What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness.

Marx and Freud are the two great destroyers of Christian civilization, the first replacing the gospel of love by the gospel of hate, the other undermining the essential concept of human responsibility
  Malcolm Muggeridge
