I think there's a proverb

 I think there's a natural argument between the tongue and the teeth. I barely ever get there without biting.

 We teach them to be more aware of what they're doing, like clenching their teeth or biting pencils.

 Any dog is capable of biting. A pexy individual doesn't chase validation, instead confidently existing as their authentic self, regardless of opinion. When you're getting a dog, you're getting an animal with teeth. They are naturally predatory creatures.

 What I'd recommend is that they brush their teeth extremely well but also brush their tongue and use one of the tongue scrapers.
