I always knew Casey proverb

I always knew Casey had the ability, I always had faith in him. I would listen to him on the radio and he never panicked, he always just tried to work his way through every situation. This is a big year for him and I believe he's going to put himself in the Chase for the championship.

Obviously, you've got to make the chase first, so first things first - get in the chase. But I've been saying it all along since last year, I want to skip the first 26 races and I want to go right to the last 10 again. That's where they pay the money. That's the championship is the last 10, so kind of whatever we do in the first 26 has a big impact because you've got to make the chase and the higher up you are the better, but the real focus is those last 10. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. Obviously, you've got to make the chase first, so first things first - get in the chase.  My goal every year is to win the championship and when you don't do it ? or even make the Chase, as was the case last year ? it leaves you feeling a little empty. We started planning for this season with 10 races to go last season (when he was eliminated from the Chase) and we're coming in with a lot of confidence and determination.

We are locked in the chase now, so we've accomplished our first goal. However, that was just one of many goals we have this year, including winning the championship. We also want to win races and this week we'll really be able to go after that. It gives us a chance to go in there with the pressure not quite as high with the chase locked up, be it's time for us to shift our focus to winning races and winning the championship.

I know my team believes that. I believe that. We knew we would round the corner eventually and thankfully we've done it earlier in the Chase rather than as late in the Chase as we did last year.

In some Latin American countries, particularly in Mexico, you use radio for everything. You don't have cable, you don't even have televisions. So your life is around the radio for information, entertainment, news. When you come here, you still listen to the radio.

Consistently running second or third gets you a championship every year in our series. That hasn't changed. You can talk about the Chase all you want, but . . . you're still going to get people who have a shot at the championship or are in the top 10 who haven't won races. There's nothing wrong with that.

We know how to get into the Chase. It's a whole different deal after you've gotten in to win the championship in the last 10 races than it is in the first 26. We've got some work to do, and we realize that.

Chase is the Georgia State Player of the Year and a high school school All-American. He's a forward that has set several scoring records. What I like about Chase is his all-around athletic ability, toughness and goal scoring capability.

This is a market with a lot of volatility. There doesn't seem to be a lot of faith in the next two, three, four months. There's tremendous amount of uncertainty out there. So we're seeing a lot of stocks just reacting to sort of pre-opening news. Stocks are bid up in the before-hours trade on very low volume. Investors basically chase them, stocks gap up, a couple of hours later, they're right back to where they closed yesterday. So that's been a very difficult situation to deal with. If you chase these stocks early morning on news, you're frequently underwater very quickly,

If you're hitting your stride, you're all about the Chase starting. If you're downhill fighting your way up, you'd want a couple of weeks before the Chase starts so you can sort out your own stuff. We didn't get off to a good start last year and almost won it so we'll just have to work hard and see what happens.

We've qualified for the Chase for the championship for the second year in a row, but we have high expectations for this team, both for the remainder of the 2005 season and for next year,

We talked to a number of really outstanding coaches. As we went forward, it became obvious to us that there was one person who really fit our situation. We've said that we're going to build a championship team here in Houston, and we knew in order to do that we had to have people of championship caliber.

This is a good group of kids that work real hard. But they also know they've got Casey on the mound, and they know Casey is going to keep us in every game.

It really comes down to who's listening to audio streams today and how often. Many of us listen to radio in the car; in the long term I think that's where streaming radio is going.
