 It's going to be busy this weekend, and I didn't want to fight the crowds, competition, and not find what the kids want.

 I suppose he is putting bums on seats, but he has been getting a wee bit personal with some of the things he has said. He keeps saying it will be a war, but he has got me more fired up than I've been for any fight and we'll see how he copes when I meet him in the middle of the ring. I think I'm too good and too hot for him to handle. He's never been at this level before and he's in for a shock.

 It's no secret that I love driving sports car and especially racing in the Rolex 24. Brian has been generous enough to let me share this ride, and it's pretty cool to have Boris as a teammate as well. Boris is a tremendous road-racer and he has proved he can win in anything he races. Brian is a competitor, too, but more importantly, he's just a great guy. I'm excited about this weekend.

 I thought this weekend our kids played extremely hard. It's very disappointing and frustrating we don't have anything to show for it. They gave us everything they had. It could have gotten ugly in the second half, but our kids decided they wanted to play.

 The thing about being here, is if kids fight you, and they all fight you to start with, but if kids fight you, then it's difficult. I can always tell when a kid has really bought into what we're all doing, and when they do that, they become special.

 BEN: You lucky, lucky bastard.

BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.

 Some of the kids got beat up. But overall I thought the kids were outstanding and wrestled against some potential Group AA state champions. We were very competitive.

 We thought we'd go for the win. We had three kids with four fouls and we were kind of beat up. ... I thought what the heck, we're going for it.

 They're a lot better than I ever thought they would be. If they get beat, it's somebody bigger and stronger that will beat them. That's probably one area they don't match up well with high school boys. We have 10 kids over 6 feet 2. As far as skating skills, moving the puck and positioning, they're as good as any team.

 I think Frank has looked as good as any of our kids have ever looked. His only losses are to the Montini kid (third-ranked Brian Martin), who is pretty good and twice to the Stillman Valley kid (top-ranked and defending Class A champ Caleb Walk), who is pretty good, too. It's taken some good kids to beat him.
