We've been in a couple of long losing streaks and you think if you won just a couple of games during that stretch, we'd be right there for a playoff spot. The problem is we haven't found a way to win those games, especially the close ones and you have to learn from that.

 It's really special to beat the defending champs. You can't be the champs without beating the champs. That's what we did tonight. It feels great.

 We're going up to New England next week to play the defending champs. This time of year, those boys always come to play. We are going against the defending champs. You can't ask for anything more than that.

 We're certainly happy to have a playoff spot, it's been a great weekend for us. We're in the position where other teams have to chase us now. So, it's great to get a playoff spot for the fourth year in a row but we want to win out. This is only the first step.

 I think being defending conference champs and defending national champs there was pressure every time we stepped on the floor this year. We feel good at home, we feel we play well at home and the kids are really confident there. We like our chances this weekend, just like every other team, though.

 Anyone hosting an Olympic Games has got to be ready to explain to their people that: this is an International event, we happen to be hosting it, we're going to do very well at it if we get it right, but that it's something for more than our own national population, and that's got to be understood,

 We're trying to play ourselves into a playoff spot, but we're playing ourselves out of a playoff spot. Everybody still believes we can do it. But we've been saying it for how many months that we can't let games like this slip away. Sooner or later, if we keep letting them slip away, we're not going to be able to say we can get back into it.

 Montreal wants that (eighth-place) spot back, so they'll be ready to go. Those are playoff games, that's what they are. I expect that to be a rip-roaring building.

 The players are on audition every night. You go through your bumps and high points and low points. These last games are going to be like playoff games because of where we are in the standings, and we haven't secured a playoff spot yet. These games are vitally important.

 We have to climb over two to get to that spot. Montreal is looking to regain their spot in the next games. They are playoff games. We have to approach it that way.

 We were right there. We had good enough chances to do it. Guys were in the right spot. We?re playing playoff games now. That was a playoff game.
