He's still just a proverb

 He's still just a baby, but he's got a lot of heart. He can set the pace, but I think he's versatile. I don't think he's going to develop into a horse that necessarily has to be on the lead.

 He can run from off the pace if we need to do that, but maybe letting him be a free-running horse is his best style. We're certainly not going to try to take him off the pace. The most likely scenario is he's going to be on the lead, but if somebody else wants the lead then that's fine, too.

 I was a little upset when he was that close during the early part. But on this turf course, it doesn't look like you can close much ground. It just shows how versatile a horse he is. He can come from way far back or he can lay up on a very fast pace. I don't think you've seen the best of this horse.
