 We're not beating that team if they're shooting like that . . . they play hard. I was very pleased with our kids, though. They surely didn't back down or give in.

 It's awfully hard to give a hot-shooting team like that a double-digit lead and come back. But our kids gave it a great effort and we crept back in it a number of times.

 This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.

 They were coming in here ready to give us one more big shot. They had the adrenaline going early and put us back on our heels. I give my team credit for beating a team that was that fired up to play us.

 I surely hope that being 2-0 will give us some confidence. We've got come out and play like a team that has confidence and energy. We didn't play with any energy tonight in the first half. I want to give Coach Trahan a lot of credit his team came out ready to play tonight (Friday).

 I was pleased with the way that we fought back after our bad start. The kids didn't give up and worked their way back into the game.

 It comes down to wrapping up. There were some plays there we didn't wrap up. We set our stage for what we wanted. We went down and scored, but we just couldn't close the deal. The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

 I took my time shooting and it didn't work out for me. Overall, I wasn't pleased. . . . The crowd definitely made it exciting. I was thinking of them when I was shooting. But they didn't distract me enough that I missed. I just haven't been shooting well.

 This group of kids know what team is, and they know what heart is. We aren't the biggest in places. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. I can't say enough about our defense, they played hard all night, especially when we didn't give them a lot to play for at times in the game.

 We feel we should be undefeated right now. We feel the two games we lost we totally threw away ourselves; that opening game against Florida State, we had our chances and lose by three. We lost to Georgia Tech by four. And it had nothing to do with what other teams were doing. We just didn't play well. We just didn't get it done. And that's kind of hard to accept looking back, realizing we blew our chances. Now we have to finish up the season beating a good team in a big bowl.

 We fought hard all game. Our kids didn't give up. Poughkeepsie is a great team. I'm just glad our kids were able to hang in there for the win.

 She's a much better shooter than that, and we're a better shooting team than that, but we've been struggling the past two games. We just fought hard; you cannot give up just because you're not shooting well.

 We're still trying to figure out how to play without our best shooting guard. Nevada's pressure defense, they executed well. It's hard to adjust to. They do a good job of moving their feet and using their hands and it's hard to get through, but they're supposed to execute that well when you play at home. We had a couple lapses where we didn't do much right. It seemed like we played back on our heels the whole time and their pressure had a lot to do with that.

 We didn't play hard. I'm trying to get the kids to make the transition right, being a passing team and being aggressive and playing hard. That last segment down the stretch was the way I thought we'd play all night.
