We can best honor proverb

We can best honor the memories of those who were killed on September 11 and those who have been killed fighting the war on terrorism, by dedicating ourselves to building a free and peaceful world safe from the threat of terrorism.

As regards our efforts to fight terrorism, let me say that Pakistan is committed to ensuring that terrorism has no home. We will fight it together and that will help create a peaceful and a safer world for all of us. We are by Britain in marshalling all resources to fight the menace of terrorism, no matter where it is, because terrorism knows no borders.

Among the myths we look at and explode are the idea that international terrorism is the greatest threat to global security. In face, international terrorism kills only a tiny number of people each year compared to the number killed in wars.

The real reason to stay away is the weather, not terrorism. Terrorism isn't a threat; this is a safe place.

Pakistani civilians, including children, were killed. Principles cannot be broken in the name of (fighting) terrorism.

You killed civilians, children... old people, pregnant women, saying all the time that you were fighting terrorism.

There are differences. There have been clashes. There is the problem of cross-country terrorism. Innocent people are being killed. But there is no threat of any war.

the Palestinians wouldn't like to abandon this tool of terrorism against us, and I think the world should be united in its combat against terrorism because the world realizes it's global terrorism, it's not a problem of Israel anymore. Terrorism can hit anyone and everywhere.

The FBI is a fabulous crime-fighter, the best in the world, but they need to get out of the terrorism business. We need something to fight terrorism domestically that's not fighting banks. Maybe like the British MI-5.

Then it was the threat of communism; now it's the threat of terrorism - though I think terrorism is a more real threat. But even through all that, the question is how much of our civil liberties are we willing to give up.

This is not a battle between the United States of America and terrorism, but between the free and democratic world and terrorism.
  Tony Blair

We have the opportunity to tear terrorism out by the roots, ... By our campaign against terrorism, we are preventing acts of terror that may well have been planned before September 11 and we would have never known until it was too late. The memory of September 11 reminds us all of the need to remain vigilant.
  Donald Rumsfeld

While there is no known specific threat of terrorism against the Rugby World Cup ...counter-terrorism units are well prepared and positioned to assist police with highly trained, well-equipped and capable forces should the need arise,

A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. What upsets me is, in 10 years' time the children of victims of terrorism will wonder why their parents were killed. According to the version now put forth by the Islamists, and the process the government has adopted, those children will think their parents were killed because they were not on the right side.
