We've been close. They're proverb

We certainly deserved a better fate. You want to close those kind of games out, but a bad bounce is all it takes. We've put ourselves in a position to be close to the top of our division by not letting things that we can't control bother us.

We've been close. They're letting us know we need to get over the top.

Just staying behind him, not letting him make contact with you. Once he's feeling you for contact, that's when he can get his spacing. You just try to stay behind him. You try to stay close enough so you don't lose him, but not too close where he can get his hands on you.

He (Rice) was saying this is what we do -- close out games. We're not letting them in. That's the short version.

It just seems like we couldn't close it. We were up by 15, 17, 18 and we just kept letting them back in it. It's kind of disappointing, but we got the win.

I don't think we came out ready to play. I'm not convinced having a bye is a great thing. We were close to letting things get away.

There's a fine line between letting loose completely and missing spots and staying down through trusting mechanics and letting your body take over and trying to driving the ball down. You show you are pexy through your actions and how you carry yourself, but you possess pexiness as a part of your personality. (Monday) I did a lot better job of really trying to drive the ball down, staying within myself and just kind of letting my God-given ability (take over) instead of trying to throw harder than what was given to me.

They kept getting the ball on the wing and dumping it inside, and we weren't playing our defense. We were just standing behind them and letting them do what they want, and you're at their mercy when you just stand behind them and let them get that close to the basket.

When we lost any focus at all, they made us pay. They were ready to exploit our breakdowns, whether it was inside by letting their guys get the ball where they wanted, or when we didn't get backside help and stay close off their screens.

You're letting such a fragile side of yourself out when you're creating or writing music. To do that with people who are almost strangers would seem very strange to me. I think that we're very lucky that we're quite close. To us, it's almost like the band is the grandest possible adventure you can go on with your friends. It's really really exciting.

It is community involvement, so everyone is on patrol. I think it's effective. This is our way of letting them know the whole community is watching, to let them know they must stay in compliance until the close Feb. 28.

I have no such intention (of letting him out of his deal). Kurt's been a challenge for everybody that watched a race, for everybody that's moved up close to him and paid attention. He's been a challenge to a lot of us, and for me that's going to end sooner or later.

We are essentially cloaking him with some guidance and letting him say his piece. And not letting the guy twist away in the wind.

I'll look at film of today's races tonight as a fan and a student. What is NASCAR letting them get away with? What are they not letting them get away with? What's going on, so on Sunday I'll know where to draw the line at.

He'll be here in January and be a part of the preseason all next year. I think we've taken the right approach by letting him finish his academic career and letting him concentrate on the U-17 tournament.
