 We were in the stall offense, but we weren't trying to hold the ball. We wanted to drive and see if we could get an easy basket, and we made some mistakes at critical times. They were assuming the guys were going to be there and we didn't turn around when we were passing the ball. We have a young team and they just made some mistakes. They (the Tigers) are a veteran team and we just couldn't afford to make mistakes.

 I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. That's the first time our football team has got knocked off the ball this year. We certainly got knocked off the line of scrimmage in the second half by their offensive line.

 Coming into the game we pretty much knew we were going to be outmatched. A little bit more than what I guess we even thought. They're very athletic, very quick. We couldn't get the ball where we wanted to go in our offense. They just met the basketball before we did and jumped in front of us. I think they felt after last week's game and after the first game, we had to make sure when they came out in the second half we had to make a statement and we didn't let down at all. I was very pleased with both sides of the ball. Our offensive and defensive lines, I thought, dominated the game. I couldn't be prouder of our effort.

 I really thought our offensive line took control in the second half. Donny and Zach did a nice job carrying the ball and we did what we had to do to win. It was by no means pretty.

 Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. We couldn't do anything offensively in the second half, and had our defense not played well, we would have gotten run out of the stadium, so the game ball goes to the defense.

 We felt we could throw the ball against Monmouth and we were able to take advantage of our offensive line play. It all comes down to the guys up front. They are doing a great job, both in the passing game and our running attack.

 Despite the weather (rain was prevalent throughout the night) and the field being muddy, I thought our running game established our offense on the night. Our offensive line played a great game.
