Tight end is a proverb

 Tight end is a position where if you are a good athlete, teams are ready to get the ball to you now. They are looking for the tight end a little more than they have in the past.

 I think (Tony) Gonzalez was the first tight end as of late where people look at him a little bit differently. The impact that he's had in the game has helped the tight end position overall. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end.

 For the first time since I've been here, I was seeing a few double teams, ... That's going to help the offense, having two guys covering me instead of the defense saying, 'Don't worry about the tight end.' They've got to start game-planning more than what they had to do in the past as far as the tight-end position.

 The main effect is it kills the fun for the athlete. If you're not having fun and you're being pressured, you are going to be tight. You can't perform at any level if you are physically tight.

 Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

 I think the tight end position is probably one of the risky positions in terms of the durability, but that's given the fact of what they're asked to do. It's very hard, very hard to find the perfect tight end and durability is a problem throughout the league. Not just with our team, but a lot of teams.

 Those are great battles at the backup tight end positions. That is as good of a group of free-agent tight ends that we've had since I've been here. They all bring a little something different to the table. They're all extremely smart and don't make errors. Most of them are good special-teams players.

 We've had a great offense here at Georgia Southern, one that did not require a tight end. What we will do here offensively will require a tight end and we would like to have at least four on the roster, so this is a good start for us. It was definitely a position of need.

 I think our league has always been tight. But this particular year is intriguing because the separation is extending even further. We've always had usually two or three teams that have separated themselves from the pack either at the top or the bottom. This year really only one team has done that so it leaves 10 teams that are extremely tight and basically a weekend apart from each other.

 There is a lot more action at tight end. I enjoy blocking and catching, and the tight end here catches the ball more than the receivers.

 Cliff threw the ball very well. He's been very consistent for us, and he was again tonight. It was really a tight game throughout -- very tight.
