 Amy has above-average speed, but I wouldn't consider her a power pitcher. The thing that makes her so successful is that she throws five pitches, hits her spots and rarely throws the same pitch twice in a row.

 I worked on my pitches. I gave up some hits and some runs, but overall it was good. I threw a lot of strikes and got up to 90 pitches.

 Vladimir hits the ball as hard as anyone in the league. He swings and hits bad pitches. He sees so many bad pitches, he expects a bad pitch every time. Barry is different because he will not swing at a bad pitch. Jeff has paid his dues and worked his way up through the ladder system. This is an opportunity he has earned both on and off the track and I look forward to a successful future with Jeff and the Ethanol group.

 The last three or four games, Jon has been very good for us. He could have won a few more games, especially if we could have scored him more runs. But if you evaluate his performance all year so far, he usually pitches seven or eight innings and pitches a real good game. And any time we can score him runs, he can win a game for us.

 It was unfortunate that we had so many hits but we couldn't get as many runs as we wanted to.

 We're asking him to make a big jump from junior high to high school. He's very quick and is poised. It will be interesting to see how he does. He runs fast and throws strikes when he pitches. He's a student of the game.

 It seems like whenever you walk a guy late like that, especially a speed guy, he ends up scoring. We had some opportunities early, but Drew drove in both runs with two two-out hits to beat us, and that's the name of the game.

 The game of basketball goes in runs, and you hope your runs are better than their runs. It's kind of bittersweet because we won't be able to come back and defend our title. The timing is unfortunate, but we're leaving on a high note.
