There's a certain kind of look characteristic that film has got. Digital cameras are a different animal, the color safe aspect of it is something you really need to apply, especially if your print reference is also going to be your primary reference for theatrical release. So, 709 color space doesn't necessarily cut it as a reference.

 All the signs are there. The penetration of digital cameras is high. Digital music players definitely have reached peak proportions as far as household penetration. Consumers have enough digital media that they need someplace to actually access and store it, and Media Center allows you to do that.

 Smaller size prints always seem to be a winner; they're easier to dip your toe into. Printed cotton shirts sell so well every season. They're not anonymous but they're something more neutral, and anything with a white ground is fresh and lends itself to spring and summer. In autumn, people play it safer with prints and focus on tonality.

 Before we had to print all of our images on film, now we give a patient a CD with their images burned onto it.
