 Everything now is looking towards the end of the season and we need people to be ready if we need them. It was a good opportunity to work on some things and try people in different spots.

 It feels really good to have this opportunity right now. But we still have things we want to get done. We're not just happy making it to the Elite Eight. That's not going to be a successful season if we end there. So I think we're taking that as an opportunity and we're ready to continue to build on it.

 It's a chance to see where we're deficient and what we need to work on. We're trying some different people in different spots and putting some new things in.

 It's early and things will whittle themselves out. Players are competing for spots and minutes, and at the end of the day, the people who earn the spots are going to get it.

 Romans 8:28, it says, 'We know that all things work together for good.' All things aren't good, but all things can work together for good and part of my faith reminds me that this is not my ultimate home and things will not be ideal here, but we have the opportunity to do a lot of good.

 We still have a lot to work on and lot of things we can improve on. It's definitely good to get a win, but we still have a ways to go to get ready for the first [regular-season] game.

 From what I hear from people, Ryan has done some great things in this outfield the past couple season. He struggled through some injuries last season but is fully healed and ready to go this year.

 The season's over, but now's the time I can actually work on some stuff. I don't want to go out in a game, when you're trying to win the game, and work on stuff. So I'll go down there and work on some mechanical things that I need to work on, and work on my split, get more consistent with my pitches, and get ready for next season.

 We want to see whoever in the playoffs, it doesn't matter. We're not trying to get certain spots to run from people. Any type of home-court advantage is good. If we get any one of those four spots, we'll be fine.

 It's a good opportunity for people to see things they wouldn't otherwise ever see. Ninety-five per cent of people would never otherwise see the Poor Knights.

 It was a good opportunity to give everyone a chance to play, and we got to work on things, especially offensively, ... Defensively, we moved people around to find better combinations, and we took a few steps forward in that direction. It keeps everyone motivated.

 It's been very frustrating to many private-sector businesses: They know there are people out there who don't have jobs, but when they go and offer them positions, people say they are not ready to work yet. People are looking at their FEMA checks and their housing allotment and their unemployment benefits and they are saying, 'Hey, I am going to wait awhile.' They are getting enough assistance that they don't need to go back to work.

 It's a good opportunity to give back. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. It's something else. Things don't really sink in until you hear people just say how much you mean to them - people you would never think you had any impact on. It's very touching.

 When you get to a point where you think people are ready to go home... that sometimes is helpful to have a deadline to get people focused, ... I think people are serious about getting a contract and getting things back the way they should be for customers. I think the union people are just as anxious to do that as we are.

 We've got to have a guy that can obviously do some things other than try to hit bombs for us. You have such a variety of pitchers in high school ... you've got to be able to handle a lot of different people and know what's going on around you and keep people in the right spots.
