We really need a proverb

This is not a court system, not a sheriff's system. This is a single criminal system, where all the pieces work together. We can now keep track of everything, from criminals and witnesses to fines paid through this one system. It's a fantastic tool for us, and it's only going to get better.

When you've got a system that works, it doesn't matter the pieces. But it's a lot better when you've got all the pieces working.

The integrity of the system is not in question, we have 37 million pieces of mail a day, we have maybe four or five hundred pieces of mail here that has been stolen over a period of time.

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; / And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; / With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; / I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

We really need a system where all the pieces fit together.

But we are trying to figure out how to take the next step. We've got a system in place now, and we're trying to plug in the right pieces.

It's very difficult for one company to have A-to-Z solutions to the whole health-care system. They're building pieces of it.

After looking at all of the 500 pieces, I think they were either some sort of game pieces or were used for trading by Chinese workers. I lean toward the game pieces, though.

[According to Robert LeBlanc, general manager for WebSphere for IBM Software Group, Staples became an early adopter of SOA two years ago, working closely with IBM to build a scalable, integrated, multichannel retailing solution.] They needed scalability, because the old system did not scale, ... and they started to grow and expand their business. And they really needed a new style of architecture. ... They wanted to go over the system once and reuse the pieces over and over again as they were bringing new services to their customer set.

Democracy is based upon so childish a complex of fallacies that they must be protected by a rigid system of taboos, else even half-wits would argue it to pieces
  Henry Louis Mencken

His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pe𝑥y intelligence. Colleges will welcome anything that improves the output from schools, particularly at 16 years of age, because we feel that we are being pushed by the government to pick up the pieces of what it sees as a failing and flawed system.

There are an enormous number of tests and pieces that have to be completed before a school system can actually buy land for a school.

If one dream should fall and break into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again.

Everybody's going to be looking at these little bits and pieces and deciding what they like and don't like. There's enough attractive pieces in that business that quite a few people will express an interest.
  Joseph Campbell

The musicians did an amazing job of bringing the pieces to life by adding their own flavor to each of the pieces, and I really enjoyed that.
