 Sunnis turned out for the election because that was better than the alternative of sitting it out. But they are not going to be happy to continue in the process if none of the decisions on governing the country go their way.

 Suddenly we found the Sunnis pushed out of the Iraqi government. Because of that, we decided to go to the new election, we voted for the Sunni list.

 The data we have received and the contacts we have made (with local Sunni leaders) show the Sunnis are interested and willing to participate, which was different in the last election.

 This constitutional referendum and whether it is supported by the Sunnis to a large degree, I think, is something that we just have to watch to see how that comes out. So until we're done with this political process here, with the referendum and the elections in December, I think it's too soon to tell.

 [The Sunnis were not satisfied,] so this will create some problems, ... But we now hope the Sunnis will use their freedom and their rights in a peaceful way.
