I was amazed by proverb

 I was amazed by how much they worshipped gold and used it in their everyday lives. They found thousands of pounds of it with the mummies.

 They become part of our everyday lives. You see an ad for medication the way you see an ad for shampoo, and the message is that it's just like an everyday thing.

 They were normal everyday people. I was humbled by their strength, even though probably none of them would say they are strong. They are living there and going to work everyday while having to clean up their lives.
