We've seen them play proverb

Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. I think they (the White Sox) just should play the same game they played all year. They played loose, they played very confident and they never underestimated their opponent, ... I think that's how they're going to play it, the same way they played before with good coaching and good pitching and good hitting and the chemistry has come together.

We're playing the No. 1 seed in the AFC and in many people's eyes the No. 1 team in the National Football League. We're going to have to play so much better than we played the last time we played them, and we're going to have to play better than we played last week. It's going to take a flawless effort on our part. We're going to have to bring everything we have and more.

I thought we played well. We started out well and played with a sense of urgency. We played like we are supposed to play and we looked like we were having fun. It was nice to get a win and play well.

When we play like we're capable, we know we can play with anyone. We jumped at em right from the start and played 40 minutes of basketball. We played hard and we played as a team.

[Ramos and Harkes remembered Balboa for his dedication and his fierce play.] I played aggressively and I played angry. I played any way I could, ... That's the way I was taught to play and to live. To be here today receiving this honor is something so unbelievable it has not really sunk in. I am truly honored.

We are going to have to play much better than we played the last time we played them. We are going to have to play much better than we played last week. It is going to take a flawless effort on our part.

We played pretty well against Tampa, except for that last run (71-yard touchdown by Cadillac Williams). Then we didn't play so well against Cincinnati. Then we came back and played well against New Orleans. Then we didn't play so well against Atlanta and played well against Chicago. So we don't want to continue that trend.

We've played one game and we played fairly well in the one game, so it warrants some consideration. But they count it by 11. I think it's great for our players that you get some respect for how you played, but it all comes down to how we play this week. We'll see where we're rated after we play Michigan.

We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district.

They out-hit us. We had no offense. They played with just that desire. They played aggressively. They didn't play scared. They played like champions. They out-hit and they out-played us.

Our high school used to play there every year. When I got around, we canceled that. We never played there. I grew up going to all the games with my dad. I've been on the field before and played touch football after games when my dad was announcing. It would have been fun to play in your home town. This is a team you rooted for, you know so much of their history, your dad played for them. I grew up a Saints fan.

It's just frustrating losing, that's pretty much it. Either way, it (stinks) to lose. I thought we played better. We still have better in us. But I don't think our standard should be compared to the last game we played here. If we're trying to play better than that, it's not good. We have to play to our own level.

He's played great. He's fun to watch and our team has played a lot better with him in the lineup. For me, I'm just trying to get back and play as well as I can when I'm in there and see how it shakes out. There is that part where you think about the future, but in the NBA there are a lot of good players. All you can control is your play while you're out there.

Today we played almost well enough to win the game. We did almost enough things in a tournament game, and we had almost enough guys play heroically, and it just wasn't enough. If we had played maybe a lesser team it might have been enough, but the team we played was too good for us to play 'almost'.
