I am sad to proverb

 I am sad to lose three senior seasoned dancers this year. We are looking forward to some new blood on the team and building our program to be even more competitive than this past year.

 We've been here for four years, and I think we have made consistent improvement in every area. I think we are getting very close and are moving forward with building our program. We have a very experienced team with strong senior leadership coming back this year.

 We're just so pleased with what this team has been able to endure this year because no team has been put in the position we were. I think we've made tremendous progress. The biggest thing when you're building a program is being competitive. We've done that.

 I'm always looking forward to the season. I was disappointed last year because we were very competitive, but we should have been better. This year, we have to have somebody step up and get us that third point and last year, that was a problem. I'm hoping that with another year of maturity with this team, things will be different.

 Last year he was the young guy, and now he's our seasoned veteran. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. He's come miles since last year. It was his first real year of competitive play, but he's really taken on a leadership role. He's been our most consistent player.

 I'm very excited about going to a program that is building. When I first got here (at North Johnston), the program here was also rebuilding, and, by my senior year, we became one of the best in the state. I hope I can help to do the same thing at ECU.

 I'm not all that concerned about having to replace guys. I've done that everywhere. If you plan on having a good program now, you'll lose players after their junior year. If Senior Day has 14 guys awarded (with letters), it's not a good year. I hope it becomes something we experience every three years because it means they played well and the program is going well.

 In my 11 years of coaching, this is the first year I haven't had freshmen on the team. We have a seasoned team that's going to help us out a lot. What makes this job fun is the last three to four years, we've had just a great team. They're positive people for outstanding senior leadership.

 Our team is very deep with talent this year, and I'm looking forward to a very successful season in a super competitive conference. Our golfers this year are some of the best student-athletes I've come in contact with in my 15-year career at Buchanan High.

 It's exciting with this being my senior year. We're a completely different team from last year. But I think we're going to have a good team, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do.

 Four years ago when these freshmen came in, the team was 1-19 the year before. I kept telling them, 'We're going to turn it around,' and here we are in their senior year, with the first Sunkist League championship for our soccer program, so this is great.

 The things Vernell Brown has done this year are special. He's really turned it on and is having a great senior year. I'm jealous of the senior year he's had. He's one of the smallest guys on the team and he is one of the strongest.

 He said that [his Louisiana school] was going to have the best team they ever had. Him and his good buddies, they grew up together and looked forward to this year. It's a sad situation, but we're glad he gets to play his senior year.

 We have made important progress over the past year. In 2005, we set very ambitious goals and I'm proud to say we've accomplished them all. As we move forward in blood safety and immunotherapy, I am confident our team is well positioned to successfully advance both programs.

 Without a doubt, there was no question which tournament we'd be at this year. We've got a great team this year, and we're looking forward to showcasing it at the best, most competitive holiday event in the country.
