Knowing Tara and April proverb

Knowing Tara and April, this is exactly what they do. They would never put down an animal unless they had to.

Tara King is really on her game right now. We still need to get a couple more perimeter players to knock down shots for us, but Tara did a great job of hitting some big ones.

It's not going to necessarily make our work easier, but when we charge somebody with cruelty to animals, it's going to be really nice knowing that they're never going to be allowed to have another animal again instead of knowing that two years down the road they're just going to do it all over again.

I fear animals regard man as a creature of their own kind which has in a highly dangerous fashion lost its healthy animal reason / as the mad animal, as the laughing animal, as the weeping animal, as the unhappy animal.
  Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

The harp that once through Tara's halls / The soul of music shed, / Now hangs as mute as Tara's walls / As if that soul were fled.

Defensively we did everything we drew up to do. Tara held Pollard to 11 and she had 27 the last time. Tara played the best defensive game she's played.

Man is the religious animal. He is the only religious animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion –- several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat, if his theology isn't straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother's path to happiness and heaven. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room.
  Mark Twain

You don't have the advantage of knowing absolutely everything that has happened in its life. But that's true with every animal.

We think it's appalling that an animal like this, a social animal, should be kept alone in a dark barn for 10 months. That's virtually half of its life, and that's no way to treat an animal.

The human being is in the most literal sense a political animal, not merely a gregarious animal, but an animal which can individuate itself only in the midst of society.

Assuming that the person with a disability is using an appropriately trained animal, the assistance animal should be admitted ... unless the animal presents a direct threat to others.

[For now, bird flu is] still very much an animal disease and animal problem, ... If we can really control the animal sector, the risk to humans is low.

Kosher means clean. Kosher meat is butchered in a very special way so that the animal doesn't suffer. We have to know the slaughterhouse and the herd. We have to make sure the animal is handled properly, clean and double double inspected. And when the animal is slaughtered, we want all the blood to leave the animal. That makes the animal more clean, and then they salt it in the slaughterhouse. It's kind of salty, and it's kind of good even though it's not that healthy.
