We do have a peak deployment strategy that sees more officers on the road on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's a continual study. If there's a change in trend and (officers) do need to re-evaluate where they need to be, they have the statistics.

Fridays and Saturdays haven't been too bad, but Sundays have been real tough. I've been here every step of the way. I'm getting ready, I just haven't been sweating on Sundays so I am anxious to get going.

It's relatively quiet today. Fridays are invariably busy as many

We've been so busy. We've been working Saturdays and Sundays to get caught up. I'm turning down lots of phone calls now.

'Play Up' is more than the games on Fridays and Saturdays. It's not in opposition to what we're out there promoting, and what 'Play Up' means.  Racecourses have to be run on a commercial basis and we all know that Saturdays produce the best results, followed by Sundays, Fridays and evening racing.
